    If you are looking for a restaurant where the food is always great, then Cobalt is your go to. Tried a new dish ( for me) which is also gluten free, and it was a grand slam in taste, presentation and blend of flavors. Shrimp and scallop risotto. To say it was amazing is selling it short. We had the pleasure of having Arden as our server. She is more than that. She has full knowledge of wine pairings and loves helping and answering any and all questions. Thank you cobalt for a perfect evening. ❤️

    Food was good (not great) Overall and good dinner. Received a surprise at the end when paying the bill. . .3% was added because I paid with a credit card-I never saw anything written or posted about this until I noticed that the check I received and the credit card receipt were different.

    Service was good, space was loud. We have memories of the food being very good here though we have not been in a few years. Our main courses were too salty, my wife’s fish so salty as to be inedible. Side dishes were not tasty either. Mashed potatoes were cold, broccoli undercooked. The manager did apologize and did not charge us for my wife’s fish which I commend. We won’t be returning.

    Went on a Wednesday night with a friend so it was quiet and not too crowded. Service was attentive, food always excellent and we enjoyed catching up at a nice booth. I had the salmon with a cup of she crab soup to start, she started with the tomato mozzarella salad which was a little more interesting than most, more greens and blueberries with cherry tomatoes and burrata. She had the mushroom Swiss burger with their delicious French fries as well and I had a couple glasses of wine, both of which complemented my courses nicely. We had no room for dessert and took half our entrees home.

    The menu on Open Table was not current. The chocolate cake was dry. The chicken in the entree was a bit over cooked. The salmon was ok, not dry. We appreciated the champagne to celebrate my birthday, that was a nice perk!

    Where to begin….our final thoughts as we left the establishment….needs a complete makeover from atmosphere to menu to chef to bartenders!! We are big fans of trying new restaurants. We arrive, inform our server it’s our first time being there. The only reason for 2 stars was the server. She tried her best to explain away a poorly made old fashioned, crab dip that was torched similar to crème brûlée and the oh so unfortunate entree. Hubby got the Wellington, I ordered the pork special. Holy cannoli, ok, the beef was ok. We have had better experiences in other restaurants regarding the Wellington. The special, I do enjoy pork medallions. What was described on the menu did not meet expectations. The pork was covered, I mean smothered, with a ground mustard sauce that was indescribably horrible. Server asked if we wanted a to go box. We politely declined. Her face was confused. She could have asked follow up questions regarding the entree but she did not and we did not complain. Politely declined dessert. Paid as quickly as possible and walked to The Butcher’s Son to salvage the evening. Do not send feedback questionnaire unless the chef and managers are prepared for constructive criticism.
