   We always enjoy the Columbia. This is the third location we’ve tried and we really enjoyed the open air atmosphere here. The food was incredible as always. One friend in our party ordered the paella and he said it was the best he’s ever had. It was a bit loud and hard to hear when we first sat down, but if this is an issue for you I’d suggest a later searing after the crowd has thinned.

   We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Columbia Restaurant in St Armand's Circle in Sarasota and had the best experience ever. The service was fantastic, our waiter Carlos was right on the ball, the food was excellent and we had a great time. Thanks for making our day memorable.

   As always, the good and service were amazing. My only critique is the size of the deviled crab for $15. It’s a bit hefty of a price fora small serving. They were amazingly delicious though and I’d likely order them again….and not share :-)

   A wonderful waitress, who was seven months pregnant waited on us and she was outstanding. My big complaint was the my gimlet was is a “house” speciality, it was really weak. I tasted no alcohol. Overall the Colombia is always a good place to dine.

    Our server could just not be bothered with us. The management tried to make up for it but it took 20 minutes after we sat before we went and asked for some water. Management brought the water it took another 10-15 minutes before waiter came. After we get our food and have eaten most of it as he's walking by he says you look good don't need anything right? (really) so we asked for the check and boxes 20 minutes or so after he has been near our table helping the two tables behind us and ignoring us my husband had to get up and get a manager again. The managers did takje care of us but the waiter was the worst ever usually everyone is wonderful there.
