Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Wait staff was a little slow but the food was good. Don’t order the black bean soup… it’s literally just beans and rice lol

My fiancé and I had no complaints about the food, food was amazing. We had a reservation at 9pm and were seating immediately. My complaint is with the bussers, we were listening to every detail about their lives that we didn’t need too. When paying for good quality food that includes good quality ambiance and service. I am very disappointed with the lack of class of the busser team in comparison to the restaurant’s expected quality.

Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine: A Memorable Night with a Minor Mix-Up We dined at the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine on Sunday at 8:30 pm, having booked our reservation the day before. Despite the bustling "Night of Lights" event, we were seated within 10 minutes of our reserved time. The place was packed and lively, contributing to an exciting atmosphere. Our evening started with a delightful red sangria, accompanied by warm bread and the iconic 1905 salad, which set the tone for a great meal. We ordered the scallops and filet, one of which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. However, the filet, which was ordered medium, came out more on the medium-well side. Since our reservation was so late and it was well past closing time, we decided not to mention it, especially considering we had an hour drive home. However, there was a mix-up with our order. Two out of the three of us ordered the "Valenciana," which, according to the menu, is supposed to be bone-in chicken with artichoke, olive rice. What we received instead was "a la Valenciana," a paella dish with rice, seafood, pork, and chicken. The confusion wasn't noticed until we had already started eating and later checked the online menu. This mistake also cost us an extra $20, as the paella was $39 instead of the $30 bone-in chicken dish we originally ordered. While everything tasted great and the service was generally good, the mix-up was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant is quite noisy and busy, so it's crucial to specify your order clearly and have the waiter read it back to ensure accuracy. Overall, we had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food. I'm rating this experience 4 stars due to the order confusion and the additional cost. Despite this hiccup, Columbia Restaurant offers a vibrant dining experience with excellent cuisine. Just be sure to double-check your order to avoid any surprises.

What a wonderful experience! Our waitress, June, was SPECTACULAR! My parents hadn’t been to St. Augustine in years, and they had never experienced Columbia Restaurant. It is absolutely an experience!! Wonderful ambiance, excellent food, and nice people all the way around! I loved the decorations for the holidays as well as it was the first weekend of Light Up The Night! Thank you for a wonderful memory! We will be back for sure!

We had a reservation for 8:45 on the opening night for the Christmas lights, so needless to say they were extremely busy. We got in about 15 minutes after our reservation which was shocking since there were walk ins from 6:30 still waiting! The food was absolutely amazing, service with my server personally was lacking, I saw other servers a million and one times running back and forth while it seems like ours was hiding. Besides the service it was great, I’ve been before however my mother was there for the first time and could agree on the fact that the food is bomb!

Food wasn't good at all. They were very busy from the nights of lights but the food was bland. Service was good though

Wonderful experience. Fantastic food. Had a great server, attentive even though the restaurant was overflowing! Would certainly return and recommend. Would certainly recommend making a reservation--walk ins at the same time had a wait of over 1.5hr.
