   I haven’t had a restaurant in Boston that we went to for a nice meal that we wouldn’t go back, but tonight was the first. Some items were good, some not so much. I asked the server to help us decide on one of the cocktails on the crafted menu, and just said, anything but floral flavor, an he said he could have the bartender make something if we tell him what we like. I just wanted one of the 3 we said to him and he took it a different way. Drink was ok, 5 sips and 2 of them were getting ice through the straw. I get they are crafted, but I didn’t taste anything that resembled alcohol, mostly watery mixers. Meatballs, mixed dips, and feta were good. Octopus was OK. I asked for no caraway seeds and didn’t get sesame seeds on the feta, maybe it was already mixed and the server asked if it was an allergy and I said no, I’m just not fond of caraway seeds, which I asked if it was premade or just on top, because I don’t order things on a menu that need to be changed, because that’s the way the chef made them, but something simple to take off. Mussels were not eaten due to them being dead, off flavor and stuck to the shells. We had 3 different runners bring food to us that wasn’t ours, at a corner table. Server came 4 times throughout the entire meal, greet, drink, second drink, a beer, and dropping the check. No check back at all although we were right next to the host stand where he was a lot. I hate leaving this review, if I don’t like a place, I just don’t do one, but after paying $200 for dinner and $50 to park for 1.25 hours, I’d just like to save someone the time and money to go somewhere else. I’m sorry, I fell in love with the menu before we went and love Greek food, but I’ve had so much better, that was way cheaper

   The food was great. I had a lab burger with salad; the burger was moist and flavorful. My friend had a bowl with chicken skewers, tzatziki , hummus and pita which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was lovely, we were able to visit without feeling rushed.

   Everything was great but only comment would be I wish they had more options for people who don't necessarily love Greek food, maybe a beef burger or pizza.

   Lamb hash was phenomenal and the sesame honey feta will go down as one of the most legendary dishes in Boston dining history. Thank you

   Staff was fantastic and greeted us immediately. They accommodated our change in the number of people in our party quickly, and with a smile! We also opted for a low-top instead of what was set, and they quickly and happily made the change. Excellent people!

   What a great night out! I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. We started with a drink at the bar which was very lively and fun. We were seated at time and had a lovely server. Overall, the food was excellent. One thing we did not like was the timing of the food. Our server told us that the larger platters of food took 40 minutes, so we put that order in right away, and then ordered meze plates about 5 minutes later. Unfortunately the large dinner platter of food came out right away! Instead of as the entree. So we started in on the platter, and then almost all of the meze small plates came out right after, at about the same time. So we felt overwhelmed and rushed. If I had it to do over again, I would not have ordered the platter right away, I would have waited, and I would have asked them to time our meal so we were not overcome with dishes. That being said, all the dinner plates we had were delicious! Finally, dessert came out. A completely burnt cake that should never have even made it out of the kitchen. it was dark, so we couldn't see it before a bunch of us took a bite. It was actually inedible. The server apologized and brought out another one, but it was exactly the same. In addition, whatever icing or frosting was on top had zero taste. So don't order the chocolate olive oil cake! But do go :) and eat dinner!

    I recently dined at Committee, and while the experience had its highlights, there were also a few disappointments. First, let me commend the ambiance—it’s truly top-notch. The lighting was warm and inviting, the decor tastefully modern yet cozy, and the subtle background music set a perfect tone for a relaxing evening. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into creating an environment that makes you want to linger. The food was undeniably good, too. The pancakes were a standout, and the dessert menu offered a delightful end to the meal. However, the experience was marred by a couple of significant downsides. For one, the prices felt excessive, even for a restaurant of this caliber. While I don’t mind paying a premium for quality, the portion sizes and the overall value didn’t match the cost. It left me feeling more overcharged than indulged. Additionally, the waiting staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. Our server took a while to acknowledge us, and we felt like an afterthought throughout the meal. When we asked for recommendations, they gave us a curt response, and it seemed like they were eager to move on rather than ensure we had a great experience. In summary, while it shines in its food and atmosphere, it falls short in service and value for money. It’s a place to visit if you prioritize ambiance and taste—but prepare for a hefty bill and temper your expectations for service.
