                                                                                        Highly recommend making reservations if you’re planning to go. Wait times can be a little long. We had reservations and got seated right away. Food was delicious, and the portions were very generous for price point. Staff was super friendly and everyone seemed to help each other. Will be dining there again for dinner.

                                                                                        We had a terrific brunch, food was delicious and service couldn’t have been better! The Madonna Inn is magical but the restaurant was full and the noise level was high.

Didn’t get greeted at table for at least 15 min and then it was a quick “are you ready”, no hello. Immediately said I wanted a piece of toffee crunch cake to go and she assured me she’d secure one to ensure they wouldn’t run out. I ordered a cocktail, that she brought out 10 minutes after our food was delivered (aperol spritz was delicious, just wish I would have gotten it first). I ordered a Patty Melt that was so greasy and bottom side of bread was soaked with burger blood. Husband’s chicken sandwich was good. She didn’t ask why I only ate two bites of my food or if we were ok. Got to the end and she said she forgot to secure my cake and they were out, which is literally the only reason we came. 0 out of 10!

                                                                                        Our waiter spoke so softly that we could hardly hear him - he gestured almost more than he spoke - like when he offered us a bag for our leftovers. He showed us the bag and then gestured if we wanted it or not. I guess we would describe him as being very timid.

                                                                                        Tawny our server was great. She provided recommendations that made my meal a pleasant experience. The only reason I took off 2 stars is because the refills were too slow and we had to constantly remind her. Also because they decided to sit us right next to an entrance/exit and it wasn’t pleasant to get a gush of air every time the door opened/closed. Will probably return to give a second chance. The food was surprisingly just ok. Nothing like “wow.” Cakes are the best!!

                                                                                        A family member and I met for a birthday lunch. It was just the two of us. We share the Monte Cristo sandwich and the Patty Melt. The food came out hot. It was delicious. The coffee was good. The service was excellent and attentive. I was very happy that we met for a birthday lunch here.
