One of our “go to” restaurants. Family has enjoyed CopperCanyon for many years. Food never disappoints. Service is usually spot on and we really like the team approach.

I had made reservations on Open Table for a round table for 6 people for the porch area. When o got to the restaurant, it was very crowded and extremely loud. The hostess said that we were going to be in a booth even though I asked for a round table. She proceeded to inform me that they did away with table s of 6 or more and that tables only fit 5 people. Really? So we had to squeeze in a booth with the 6 of us. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation. The waitress also had a hard time hearing out orders. The food was okay. If what the hostess says is true about not being able to seat more than 5 people, I’ll have to reconsider this restaurant when I have other meetings. The cornbread is amazing!

This location and the ambiance are especially inviting, so we chose to dine with you two times. Today, November 9, 2024, was the second disappointing experience at this restaurant. Making a reservation for a table absolutely doesn't matter. My reservation for 1:30 for a table *(not a bench) was not honored. Finally, a little after 2:00 a table was set in the walkway next to the windows. Although the service (Mila) was exceptionally good and the food OK, I don't think I'll return to this restaurant, nor recommend it. For the first disappointing experience, our children reserved a table for lunch for eight (8) people to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary, but when we arrived, we were told that tables could not be put together to accommodate us. How could we be assured of a reservation specifying the time (e.g., 1:30) and place (four-season patio or Lake House) at your restaurant, if we should choose to try one dining there one more time? A reply would be sincerely appreciated.
