   While the food is good the term gastro pub is a misnomer - it’s basically a hotel restaurant adjacent to the lobby of the hotel - which was disappointing and not what we expected. Flat atmosphere and patchy service- all in all not a great experience

   Overall, really disjointed. Food is fine, but there is nothing remotely unique or worth a return visit. It took 20 minutes to get a server, the bartender was great and when she realized it hustled to get everything. The manager came over trying to take our order not 30 seconds later and gave some excuse at to why we were waiting. Our meal was comped, without us asking which was nice, but still kind of puts a damper on a night out when dinner goes wonky.

   Server was great! Food was very tasty, but unfortunately, there were two items on the menu that we wanted to try & we were told they no longer had them that day.

   Christmas Eve Eve dinner with family. Had the steak frites and it was yummy. Done just as ordered, crispy fries, and also had a Caesar salad. Service, food, all great. Restaurant is pretty, and the bartender poured a good drink.

   It’s the Courtyard restaurant. Not a gastropub at all. Felt like I was in a conference room. Very limited food selection. Service was excellent

   The food was pretty bad given the amount it cost. There are items on the menu that aren’t available. The French toast was sliced bread thin, not at all what French toast should be. The chilequilles was a fried egg on top of a single tostada, pancakes looked like crepes (no rise, no fluff) the fact that this meal was $93.00 this was the worst breakfast ever, only pot coffee. The website is misleading.

   Horrible experience! Would never go back. Service was less than desirable. Barely checked on us. Our food came out at different times, was incorrect when served. Didn’t have maple syrup for breakfast (it was 915a). Here’s the thing, I understand short staffing happens and not saying this was or was not the case, but at least come around to check on and see how things are going. There are so many better places in Chicago.

    An overall ok place, but nothing special. The salmon was bland, and the dessert choices minimal. Probably would not go back.
