Bar for 1 young waiter, all the other waiters were poor. Really poor. We were asking several times for the same things, they did know they own wine list, they forgot our orders, they did not provide all the menus, they did not communicate between themselves. A blond waiter, in particular, simply did not care messing around with our evening from the start… As I said, besides one waiter, all the others were not worth being called waiters. And we paid 15% service of a high bill for this: thank you very much! Otherwise venue, food, ambience and view were great.

We had a nice visit at the lodge. Just a few things that could be taken into consideration. There is no big heater surrounding the cabin and we were first told we couldn’t have one, but then Greg helped us get one, but all the normal seating had heaters so that was something to note as it cold! Also the waiter didn’t know about the Christmas menu until we had asked for it for a while, and we were told there was no melting cheese and that was half of the reason we booked it in the first place. However the chef when downstairs to the stock room and found one but that was after all our other food had come out. I felt like I had to ask for a few things to be sorted and quite a few things our waiter was confused about, however Greg was lovely, so overall experience was ok! Thank you. Sophie.

We had a good meal, but not stellar. We had the truffle tasting menu and that was probably a mistake - there was just too much truffle - used inappropriately and injudiciously. It didn't work served with a white chocolate sorbet, for example, and by the end of the meal we were sick of truffles. The noise level was very high. We chose the paired wines but could barely hear a word that the sommelier said when she was telling us about them. I appreciate that the restaurant was busy, but dirty dishes should not be left piled up on a serving station in the dining area.

Booked outside, it's ok that you were decorating but you should have told us that it's not accommodating area. Your area looks nothing compared to what is your Instagram account.

Our evening began on a high note as we arrived at the restaurant, where we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff at the front desk. They offered us the option to sit in the bar area, which was a delightful start to the night. After a short wait, we were seated by the window for dinner, allowing us to enjoy the view while savoring our meal. Our waiter promptly provided us with the wine list and suggested we speak with the Sommelier for more personalized recommendations. Eager to enhance our dining experience, we ordered a bottle of wine along with a beer, excited for what was to come. However, things took a turn when the Sommelier arrived with our wine – it was not the one we had ordered. This moment marked the beginning of a decline in our experience, as the Sommelier engaged in a rather heated argument with our waiter over the mix-up. The tension was palpable, and it significantly altered the atmosphere of the restaurant, which had been so inviting just moments before. As for the food, it was decent, albeit on the heavier side. While it satisfied our hunger, it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. In summary, while the initial service and ambiance were promising, the unfortunate mishap with the wine and the resulting conflict between staff overshadowed the experience. With a bit more attention to detail and communication, this restaurant has the potential to offer a truly exceptional dining experience.

I was surprised at the poor cooking of my steak. Cool and raw inside, not seared, seasoning below even my poor ability.
