    We were on time for our reservation and were seated right away. It took almost 25 minutes for our server to come to our table. She brought water. She came back a few minutes later to take our drink order. Drinks came back fairly quickly, and we orders an appetizer and our entrees…. Nearly 35 minutes to get our appetizer, which was 2 thick cut pieces of bacon for $17…. 2 pieces of bacon for $17 bucks.. We both ordered the filet Oscar. We had to ask for bread twice…. Finally, the food came out after another long wait. One filet was prepared right, but the other was way overdone. All in all, for a $265 dinner for two (not including tip), we were underwhelmed by the very slow service and mediocre quality food for the price… We will pass next time we’re in town…

    I can not think of a worst dinning experience. We were not served our dinner for 2 hours. Once the steak arrived it had to be returned because it was well done as opposed to medium rare. The lobster was undercooked. The wait staff told us they were doing the best they could - they were very understaffed. The set menu was not priced correctly. The wait staff said that all the guests were upset. Management gets an F.

    Disappointing Valentine experience with the slowness of the kitchen and limited options on the menu which were surprising. The servers did their best with the situation. Marriott needs to step up the management at this restaurant as more was expected especially with the cost of the meals.

    We waited 40 minutes and never saw our server. It was Valentines Day dinner and we expected slower than usual service, but we never even got a cocktail order taken. We luckily wound up eating at another restaurant but this place was a travesty.

    We went for our Valentine Day dinner. Upon arrival the place was about 1/3 full yet we were seated by the kitchen. We sat for 1/2 hr before a server even acknowledged us. No apology and no explanation. Bread was stale. The service was beyond slow at best. Many other guests were walking out. In the back room a few servers were loudly arguing. We attempted to go get our own drink refills at the bar as we were never approached and asked about refills. There was no bartender and another guest just replied “good luck”. Our meal was served cold. Disappointing all around. Many guests were leaving. We had been there before with a wonderful experience. This time was completely disappointing all around.

    I’m local and love eating at Sanibel Marriott. It just wasn’t the nicest place to be, on Valentine’s Day the service wasn’t that good. I don’t think anyone was anticipating how busy it might get.

    It was terrible, they had a set menu for Valentine’s Day and no mention of it when I made the reservation. There was only one soup and no salad option! A couple appetizers that we had no interest in. Then for the meal at s steakhouse, there was no filet only option, only surf and turf. They had a porterhouse on the menu but said they were out of it. The service was terrible, took 30 minutes to get out check once done, I think we saw our waiter three times in 2+ hours.
