Dine at Craft to experience Tom Colicchio’s signature ‘What's Local Is Best’ cooking with an always evolving collection of simply prepared dishes created to highlight high quality, seasonal ingredients. “Simple doesn’t mean simplistic,” Tom says in his book, Think Like a Chef, and the food at Craft serves as proof. Perennial favorites include pan-roasted diver scallops, braised beef short ribs, and a bounty of Greenmarket sides.

    All around perfect evening. The family style presentation was fun for our group of 5. All food was expertly prepared but the standouts were the hen of the woods and the banana miso ice cream. The ice cream was so incredible that we ordered a second round. Easily the best bite I’ve had all year.

    We had a reservation and had to wait standing in the cold entryway for a guy to run back and forth to ready our table. When we finally were seated, it was FREEZING—vents above the windows blow cold air onto back and neck where we were seated. We moved, but it wasn’t much better. Couple sitting next to us said the same. The waiter was condescending—talked too long about what we had to know about this special place. He did offer to let me try the Bianca Negroni and to send it back if I didn’t like it. I did send it back—way too sweet. He was to bring me the traditional Negroni, but it took so long for him to check back that my husband has long finished his cocktail before mine came. Then before I had time to enjoy it, the food arrived. My halibut was good, but at close to $70 it should have included some sort of side dish. The waiter didn’t really check back to see if we were satisfied. I was really disappointed—$200 + and the evening was not comfortable or relaxing. This waiter needs to stop showcasing himself and pay attention to the needs of his clientele.

    Food was good but not excellent. When you sell yourself as an elevated experience, and charge accordingly, I expect excellent food. The pork chops were almost all fat. The beet salad was mediocre. The octopus overcooked. The standouts were the broccoli side dish and the halibut. Service was spotty in the beginning but improved significantly over time. And our server was what boosted this review to four stars instead of three.

    The service by everyone from door staff to the table water and bussing staff was great however our main server left us so often we didn’t have drinks orders for nearly 20 mins after arriving , we’re left waiting for our server to return and then before our meal finished he had left and didn’t even say goodbye or pass us over to anyone so one of our table had to get up and ask for some help with drinks and a dessert order. The food ran out at 9pm booking and a lot of what we asked for was not on the menu even though they assured us it would be as we sat down as an example they run out of potato’s. Was over all a poor quality of service from the older guy who was apparently looking after us and lack of clarification about what was available. Not what we expected .

    Atmosphere was good and vibrant. Nothing specifically stood out but was a good vibe overall Food - Risotto was excellent and would order it a hundred times over! - Arugula was good but nothing outstanding. - Spare rib was amazing. It was extremely tender and a great value for the price. If this item is on the menu I highly recommend ordering. - Pork chop was the least favorite item we ordered. While the sauce paired with the meal was very good, the pork itself was not tender. The flavor of the pork was good but felt a bit tough and overcooked compared to ordering this type of dish at other restaurants. - Deserts: the chocolate tarte was good but difficult to eat and the star of the plate was the gelato on the side. Overall a decent offering. The donuts were good and the caramel sauce was quite tasteful. Skip the chocolate sauce option if you choose this dish. Service Overall it was good and would highly rate although there were a few missteps. The lead/captain mentioned bread would be served immediately and we had to remind the team after our appetizers arrived that it had not come to the table yet. We also needed to ask several different wait staff for water refills when left unattended for periods of time. Overall the service was not negligent but these were notable misses compared to dining establishments we frequent back home on the Las Vegas Strip properties.

    Food was delicious, service was great, tables a little too close together for my taste, especially for the amount of money your spending. Was looking forward to a night out with my wife, not join the loud party of 6 next to us.
