We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and decided to make a reservation here that came as a highly recommended place from Alaska Foodies on FB. We got an amazing table with a view and our server David got to us promptly. Our appetizers were the bone marrow and lobster roll. 10/10 for plating, visual and taste! Now here comes the not so pleasant time we had. I ordered the ribeye and my husband ordered the pork chop. I ordered mine medium rare and I received a well done, super salty steak. I told our waiter about it and he told me that he *could* take it back but it was going to be awhile before it got to me. I was starving at that point so I decided to keep it and nibble at the edible parts. After dinner, we decided on dessert (probably another mistake) because what we received were three super dry, cold what seemed to be rolls with caramel and ice cream when we ordered apple cider donuts. We really wanted to like this place but still being charged for a steak that was hardly edible and not being offered something else wasn’t cool. We had hoped the dessert was a redemption but it wasn’t either. We will try and come back in the summer to see if it was an off day.

Service at The Crow’s Nest was decent—attentive but not remarkable. The food disappointed: lobster roll had tough, oversized bread; crab bisque was bland and grainy, a far cry from the silky flavorful lobster bisque I’ve savored before; steak was underwhelming and lacking anything special, though the demi-glace was pretty good, with over salted and undercooked broccolini and potatoes pressed into a round mold as uninspired sides. The Crow's Nest can and has been so much better. Below average food for such a high end restaurant, the ambience and friendly staff are the high-points of this meal.

Dinner and cocktails both delicious. I think the restaurant was a bit short staffed. The waiter that brought my espresso was fabulous.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Crow's Nest. We ordered their Fromagio's Cheese and Meat Plate, Kale Salad, Citrus Fennel salad, Black Cod, and Duroc Pork Chop. For Dessert, we had Decaf Coffee and two types of Sorbet: Chocolate and Plum Ginger. The Fromagio's Cheese and Meat Plate was smaller than I remember it being in the past, but it was also less expensive and still delicious. The Kale Salad was great, but the Citrus Fennel Salad was not something I'd order again. The Black Cod was terrible, my wife couldn't even finish eating it. I wouldn't recommend it. We make Black Cod at home and love it, so it was disappointing. The Pork Chop was delicious, and I'd order it again. Our server wasn't as personable as our servers at Crow's Nest have been in the past, but the Manager, Adam, was great and replaced the Black Cod with another dish. Both Sorbet dishes were tasty, and we'd do those again and Crow's Nest always has the best coffee.

Overall it's a very nice place, the views are great, the service was great. You're definitely not paying for a substantial meal. It was delicious but not more than 5 bites to complete.
