   The food is exquisitely prepared with quality ingredients. It is my second visit there while in Anchorage and I wouldn’t visit here without a stop for dinner at the Crows Nest for an amazing meal, experience and view. Don’t forget to get dessert, the pastry chef is creative with flavors that really complement one another.

   Wonderful evening. The waiter was knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was perfect. We started with the oysters and fried olives. Really enjoyed the sorbet with the oysters. Our table had scallops, ribeye, pork chop and cod and absolutely no complaints. Very good! Desserts were a treat. We were celebrating a special occasion and the Crow’s Nest never disappoints.

   There is nowhere more romantic for a dinner in Anchorage. Make reservations early enough to secure an inlet view table. The food is spectacular, especially the crab legs and black cod. Always try the fried olives to start.

   NYE Dinner at Crows Nest Restaurant We had high expectations for the NYE dinner at the Crows Nest Restaurant, given its reputation and the prestige of the event. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of what we anticipated. The service was lacking, which was surprising for an event of this caliber. It felt disorganized, and the attention to detail we expected simply wasn’t there. While the food was nice, it missed the thoughtful touches that elevate a dining experience, such as fresh bread on the tables. One positive aspect was the view of the 8 pm fireworks, which was excellent. However, it was frustrating that people who had not paid for the event were allowed to stand around paying guests’ tables. This detracted from the exclusivity and overall experience we had paid for. In the end, we felt the evening did not provide good value for money. It was an underwhelming experience, and we wouldn’t choose to book this event again.

   On New Year’s Eve, we enjoyed a five-course set menu, with each table provided with celebration props. Thanks to our early reservation, we were seated by the window. The oysters, offered with two different seasonings, were smooth and fresh, bringing a taste of the ocean. The simple arugula salad paired with dry-cured ham was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating. The seared scallops were cooked perfectly, and the lamb chops were a true highlight—juicy and bursting with flavor! Despite being quite full, we couldn’t resist finishing the dessert, which had a delightful balance of sweet and tangy. At 8 PM, we were treated to a stunning view of high-altitude fireworks. I’m so glad we chose this place to celebrate the New Year during our 12-day trip to Alaska. The food and atmosphere were wonderful, though the staff could have been a bit more enthusiastic. Overall, it was a memorable experience!

   As usual the Crow’s Nest in Anchorage, Alaska was fabulous. Wait staff very knowledgeable and courteous. We had dinner and the meal was outstanding. We have never been disappointed in this restaurant and still number one on our list of favorite places to dine.

    Very good food, excellent wine, but a little over priced. Husband ordered a whiskey and got a sip...maybe like 1 finger, maybe. Service was excellent and ambience was outstanding.
