Under the skilled guidance of Head Chef Akifumi Sakagami, we proudly present world-class Edomae sushi in our distinctive Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera restaurant, where the sushi rotates on a conveyor belt. Our Kaiten sushi experience mirrors the high standards and consistency we have honed at our main store in Ginza, extending this excellence to our various locations worldwide.
At Nori Bar, we make a darn good sushi handroll and are proud to say so. Our handrolls meet at the intersection of the freshest seafood from Hawaii and Tokyo, fluffy Koshihikari rice, and hella crisp nori. This isn’t your grandpa’s traditional sushi restaurant, but that doesn’t mean he won’t like it, too.We built this restaurant to offer a high-quality sushi experience to a wider audience. So come in, kick back, and roll with us.
Beginning with a small shop of just 9 seats in Dotonbori, Osaka in 1986, our founder simply wanted to make everyone happy with his soup. From there, we expanded throughout Japan. Now, this is our first upscale Surf + Dine concept with a full service bar right in the heart of Waikiki. Our trademark dish is Oishii Ramen, literally meaning Delicious Ramen. Our soup is highly original while also inspiring nostalgia. It is light in colour but rich in flavor and brings a taste that’s both new to you yet familiar. We also feature other items including sushi, donburi, Japanese small plates, ribs, and Hawaiian local favorites. We host a full service bar that offers local flavor inspired craft cocktails, mocktails, and a large selection of wines, sakes, shochus, beer, tequila, whiskey and much more. Enjoy dining in our light and airy modern inspired dining room with over 130 seats or book one of our private rooms perfect for special occasions or business dinners.
In the heart of Waikīkī lies a reimagined Izakaya and Bar where energetic Japanese hospitality meets the eclectic and diversified cultures of Hawaii. Rooted in a sense of nostalgia from a time when things moved a little slower, Izakaya 855-ALOHA welcomes visitors and locals alike to gather, stay a little longer, and bond over a meal and drinks in a dynamic social environment. With playful interpretations of traditional small plate Izakaya fare and a buzzy cocktail program, the menu highlights the precision and techniques found in Japanese cuisine along with the local ingredients of Hawaii. Opened in 2010, Robata JINYA reflects cooking techniques and traditions passed down from Tomo’s father combined with his personal deep appreciation for the City of Angels. Now expanding to Honolulu, Hawaii, Robata JINYA plays to traditional robatayaki service of slow charcoal-grilled skewered meats and vegetables as well as exotic sushi and sashimi plates. Tomo aims to provide a lively space where sharing of small plates, as well as conversation, is encouraged. Further supporting the mission of comradery, Tomo chose the name “JINYA” in reference to the historical estates of samurai that later served as community meeting points. Welcome to Robata JINYA.
