Every staff member was wearing a genuine smile for the duration of our visit. Super helpful, friendly, courteous and kind. I had the Black Star - the shrimp were cooked perfectly and that curry was divine. My husband had the Buka and ate every bite of that delicious short rib. We got there at the tail end of happy hour and enjoyed two delicious appetizers, too - the mini meat pies, and a selection of curries, plantains, and blok chicken. This cuisine is so unique and so flavorful, I cannot WAIT to return to try something new. The decor is beautiful and reflects the culture of the cuisine. We ordered what was recommended by the waiter catfish with grits and the fried chicken. It was delicious. We will be going back to try new dishes.
