Service was excellent and warm. One of my favourite places in Edinburgh.Plus d’informationsMimi's Bakehouse - CorstorphinePrix : raisonnable• Petit déjeuner• Edinburgh•4,5

Loved the open areas....plenty of comfortable seats.. My friend had a 3 courses dinner...each course was delicious...surprisingly different but delicious... Overall 10 out of 10...we will definitely be back...highly recommend it. .Plus d’informationsThe GrahamstonPrix : raisonnable• Écossaise• Glasgow•4,4

Service can be a bit slow but staff are lovely. Only thing I'd say is they ask if it's a special occasion ( birthday etc) but don't do anything to mark it as such . Good value for money though.Plus d’informationsCask & ClydePrix : cher• Écossaise• Glasgow•4,4

My wife and I like the occasional afternoon tea and this is right up there with the best of them. The choice of drinks was good and quickly replenished by courteous and attentive staff. To be fair though we were the only ones there. The food was amazing. The hot savoury dishes were unusual but not too weird, feta and red onion quiche (my favourite) and a black haggis & red onion sausage roll. The sandwiches were more traditional but still made really well. There were two plain and two fruit scones which were smaller than you'd usually have but by the time I'd got to my second one this didn't seem like a problem. Finally there was a lovely selection of 'wee cakes', these were taken back to our room to be consumed later as by the time we got to them we were really quite full. They were still lovely hours later. All in all this was a superb afternoon tea. All of the ingredients seemed excellent. All items were carefully placed and thoughtfully displayed. The portions were also really good without looking too gluttonous. My only criticism is the location, the Snug is a lovely wee lounge, isolated from the outside world, but does not have the same feel as a well appointed restaurant or tea-room. In warmer weather though afternoon tea can be taken out in the roof garden (right next to the Snug) and I imagine this would make for a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend Afternoon tea at the Glasshouse hotel.Plus d’informationsThe Glasshouse Hotel, EdinburghPrix : cher• Écossaise• Edinburgh•3,5
