Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in New Toronto

Overall excellent high tea. The food and service was exceptional. They even sang Happy Birthdqy for my mom and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Highly recommend Cafe Victoria for high tea. The only thing that could use some updating is the interiors but overall I still give this spot a 5.

After visiting the 17 th floor Writers Room for dinner i decided to join Joni’s for an additional dink at the fabulous bar. I noticed a new face. At Joni’s the turnover is rare. Her name is EMMA. I ordered a fabulous Peroni beer. Emma I found very welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Her conversational skills are very engaging which led me to enjoy a perfect Japanese whiskey. The standards are very high at Joni’s and I feel Emma is a perfect fit for Joni. I am a regular here. It will be my pleasure to return and to be served by her and also the wonderful team Joni. I took my family to Astor Lounge for the High Tea. The aesthetic of the lounge is very nice. We were seated near a window and it was quite drafty, so they had some sort of space heater which blew out dry hot air, so that took away from the ambience a bit. The hostess was pleasant, but I wouldn't say she was proficient at explaining the high tea to us and we had to clarify how it worked. She also didn't seem particularly knowledgeable about the tea or the pastries/desserts. The tea and the food were great, however. Overall, I wouldn't say its an amazing value at $95 per person, but for the experience, it's reasonable for at least a one-time thing.

We have a wonderful visit and love the ambiance and service at Windsor Arms Hotel. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive and provided great recommendations. We also love the afternoon tea menu. The sandwiches and scones were delicious and fresh! We can’t wait to come back again!

First time doing this, and the experience was phenomenal. I am not a tea person, but I enjoyed the opportunity to chat with my family while enjoying soft music and good food. I would recommend asking guests if it's the first time, for I had no idea I had to dilute the last part of my tea hehe. Great environment, great snowy day with a cozy view.
