- LLiamYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoThe whole tea service and afternoon tea menu were so good I struggle to choose which part was best! Excellent food and drink all around. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Service was perfect, not overly attended and someone was quickly available when needed. The Rwandan tea and Chinese White tea were a real pleasure. May be the best scones I've ever tasted - soft texture and not dry or crumbly at all. Not cheap but well worth it. Enjoyed the piano interpretations too.More infoBettys Café Tea Rooms - YorkPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• York•4.7
- WWayneYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024This is our 2nd time visiting, and the food, service and setting has always been outstanding - 10/10. We were served by James (both times) and Louie? (Sorry if the spelling isn’t right) this most recent time, not to mention the lady hosting (whose name also escapes me, SORRY) - all a credit to the place! We always feel welcome and catered for, and can’t wait to come back again and again.More infoBettys Café Tea Rooms - HarrogatePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Harrogate•4.7
- AAnnabelLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Excellent, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Our server Imogen was very professional and efficient and a credit to the restaurant. The Lobster Thermidor was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The only negative was the poor service in the hotel bar beforehand. We had to wait quite a while but no one came to take our order even though there were staff behind the bar. In addition, the loud crashing of glass bottles being thrown into the bin behind the bar really spoilt the ambiance, not a great start to the evening sadlyMore infoThe Rise RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.6
- MMollyYorkshire •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024Lovely afternoon tea in the Garden Room. The sandwiches were nice and the scones were great, they were warmed and served with jam and clotted cream. We had the festive afternoon tea which meant the cakes were festive themed, I would prefer them be the usual cakes. I wasn’t a fan of the Christmas pudding or mince pie flavour. Overall, it was great. I would go back for regular afternoon tea but not the festive one due to the cakes. Service was amazingMore infoAfternoon Tea @ The Garden RoomPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• York•4.5
- RRyanYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024I was apprehensive about booking a bottomless brunch here as I assumed we would be waiting a while between drinks. However I couldn’t fault the service at all! When our server (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) noticed we were close to finishing a drink, she promptly arrived to take another order. We were seated at the end of the restaurant separate from the hustle and bustle also. Our visit was a birthday treat for my Mum and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, could not recommend more!More infoSky Lounge at Doubletree by Hilton LeedsPrice: Expensive• Regional British (Northwest)• Leeds•4.7
