Made 5:15 reservations on a Sunday for 8 people at Uptown Roosters before catching the 7:00 showing of Hamilton. We were seated immediately, we started to get a little worried as the food seemed to be slightly delayed, but everyone’s food came out together in enough time to enjoy and not feel rushed. Service was great, ambience was perfect for the evening. Added bonus… Parking validated for BAC parking deck which is the same parking deck for Belk theater.

Shea was our server and she was awesome! Super friendly and gave fantastic service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us first-timers. The food and drinks were very tasty, I personally loved the customizable charcuterie board. Ambience was very nice, and we got to enjoy live music. Had a very good first experience, will be returning.

Reservation for 6 on 1/30/25 at 8:15 PM. We attempted to visit on 1/29 but did not have a reservation and were turned away as there was nothing available. Made a reservation for the following night as stated above. Visit started off rough as we checked in 15 minutes prior to reservation. We were told it would be closer to our actual reservation time before we could be sat which was fine. However, 15 minutes passed without us being sat…the manager and staff communicated to us in a friendly, professional, and apologetic manner that there was another party who was finished dining but were not leaving therefore, our party could not be sat. Approximately half an hour after our reserved time we still were not sat. I asked to speak to the manager who remained professional and courteous to us the entire time. He offered us seating at the bar until a table opened up, with a round of drinks and appetizers on the house for the delay. We ordered a round at the bar, and approximately 10 minutes later we were sat at a table with continued apologies from the manager. After being sat, the manager brought out appetizers as promised. The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff could not have been more accommodating and service oriented. The atmosphere was top notch, to be fair, it is noisy but it’s supposed to be a lively and intimate speak easy atmosphere. Very cool place with phenomenal food. Could not be more impressed with the way the entire staff handled the mishap. 100% would recommend coming here and even if you have to wait…it’s well worth it. Great cocktails, great food, great atmosphere, and phenomenal customer service.

We had such a wonderful experience at lunch yesterday! Our waiter, Connor, was attentive, incredibly helpful, and had such a great sense of humor. Then we get to the food...It was MARVELOUS! Our party of three enjoyed several lush and delicious shared plates and the spicy sausage pizza and each bite was better than the last. Fortunately, we had enough room for dessert and the Basque cheesecake was so reminiscent of our time in Japan we nearly cried over it. It was THAT good. We look forward to enjoying a bottle of wine and more food when the weather warms so we can sit outside and enjoy it!
