Best American Restaurants in Highland

We love Iron Bridge. The food is excellent. I’m still dreaming of my meal last night-the snowy grouper. My server hit the nail on the head when she described the flavor as being between sea bass and halibut. It was delicious! And of course, we had to top it off with their world famous crème brûlée. Everyone, from the person who greeted us, to our server, to the floor manager was very warm and attentive.

The Food Market is consistent in terms of excellence food, a friendly atmosphere, and great service. Staff takes good care of their new and regular customers.

I bought my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! Though it was not our first time, going to Blackwall Barn & Lodge always feels like a new experience. The servers, Tasha and Christy, were working double time with serving the floor and the bar, but they were consistent and attentive as well as just fun to interact with. The managers do not shy away from helping run food and speaking to customers. For appys, we order the fried tomatoes and a caesar salad. My bf has a tree nut allergy, and the caesar salad does come with almonds and granola, but they were apologetic and expeditious in providing a new salad without. Our entrees were EXCELLENT! We both had specials, I had the crusted lamb with mashed potatoes and veggies and he had the salmon with polenta....amazing! As it was his birthday, they no longer do the free dessert, but they offer a coupon and card for your next visit. Overall, I will be returning....with or without him LOL

Our party of 4 all enjoyed our post-holiday lunch. Our request for a specific table was honored. It was already set up when we arrived, giving us a nice view of the fireplace on a v cold day. Food was great, hot, & attractively presented. A Cosmo frm the bar was excellent as were the 2 desserts we ordered. Would return for sure!
