Really yummy high end food. One of the best steaks I’ve had (NY bone in.) Caviar set up was stellar and delicious. I was just a little disappointed that the server said “it comes with a sauce” for the steak, prompting us to choose one when it was actually a $10 up charge and we didn’t even want or need the sauce 😬 Kind of offensive when your bill is going to be $350+ for two. You don’t need to upsell something so silly that we didn’t even want. With that being said, I’d go back in a heartbeat and tell others to enjoy but just watch for upsells

We were in Kailua-Kona for two weeks and ate at Jackie-Rey's twice. The seafood is delicious, especially the chatch of the day. I had Swordfish one evening and mahi-mahi the second. Both were prepared to perfection. The sauces were especially tasty. One of our party doesn't like seafood, so the pasta with filet pieces was great for him. Don't miss the desserts! The sampler with four desserts is great if you can't make up your mind.

Setting and food were great. Service was uneven. Didn’t check to see if we needed anything after entrees served (we did). Didn’t refill water glasses. Brought soufflé immediately after entree plates removed and didn’t bring plates for soufflé and were not available to ask for a while. Restaurant was not busy
