- CChristineVIPChicago / Illinois •40 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy friends and I had a delightful wine tasting. Pam always greets us with a smile and is attentive to our needs. Our server, Bobby, was prompt and was knowledgeable of the menu. He checked in on us as necessary and was cheerful during our entire meal. As always, the general manager, Eric, was able to answer all our questions regarding an event we wanted to plan. He is always a pleasant to speak with whenever I am at this location. Pam and Eric make the Wheeling location my primary Coopers Hawk location to dine at. All of the waitstaff was exceptional… The Pork Chop Bites appetizer was so good - I think I’ll have to order the pork chop entree next time. The medium-rare Crusted Prime Rib (Thursday Special) was wonderful. Loved the Grilled Brussel Sprouts side and the Banana Foster deserves a 15 out of 10! It is flamed at the table, it looks HUGE, and I was left wanting more when I was finished [almost licked the plate ;-)]. Excellent dark roast coffee that could be tamed with cream or sugar, but black is perfect with dessert. We arrived at 7:30 with the restaurant 1/3 occupied, and the noise was unbelievable! I could hardly hear my guest and waitress. By 8:15, it was getting easier to hear across the table, and by 9:00 the noise level was relaxing. Poor acoustical design of the building? Be prepared for $130+/per person without drinks… The food experience is worth the splurge on a special occasion!More infoPerry’s Steakhouse & Grille – Vernon HillsPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Vernon Hills•4.6

It was delicious and cooked to taste. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem.More infoWildfire - LincolnshirePrice: Moderate• American• Lincolnshire•4.7
- AAliceChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHere’s a review you could use: We celebrated a birthday at Spears, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was outstanding, with every dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor—everyone at the table raved about it. A special shoutout to our incredible server, Armie, who went above and beyond to make the evening truly unforgettable. Her warm and friendly demeanor, impeccable attention to detail, and top-notch service elevated our celebration to the next level. To top it all off, Armie surprised the birthday boy (my husband) and the rest of the table with a towering cotton candy treat that made the night even more special. Thank you, Spears, for such a memorable evening—we can’t wait to return!More infoSpears Bourbon Burgers & BeerPrice: Moderate• American• Wheeling•4.6

Food was prepared to order and came out hot and in a timely manner.More infoCity Works - Vernon HillsPrice: Expensive• American• Vernon Hills•4.4
