Best American Restaurants in Marco Island

Plan ahead to save room for the bread pudding. Seriously… it’s not to be missed. Love, love, love the beet carpaccio… clever and delicious. Also a big fan of the grilled shrimp brochettes… always intend to try something new, but then can’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy it again. The lump crab creamed corn is a stand-out dish … it’s listed under “sides” but is wonderful as an appetizer and rich and hearty enough to be a main. Again, don’t skip to bread pudding. It’s amazing!

It was our first time at this wonderful restaurant and we can’t say enough good things about our experience. Everyone was soo attentive to us and always checking in to see if we needed anything. The drinks were awesome and the food was delicious. We tried both types of wings and the side dips were soo tasty. Crab claws were yummy and we split the shrimp and grits and wow! Loved it all. One of our new favorite restaurants. In addition, they are super Gluten friendly.

This gem is hidden in an easy to miss strip mall next to Joey’s Pizza on Collier. It’s worth seeking it out. Very clean and intimate restaurant with a varied menu and nice wine list. We had the mussels in white wine, beet salad, Caesar salad, crispy duck and the veal chop with mushrooms special. Absolutely everything was perfect, especially the mussels and the duck.our server James was professional, super attentive and very personable. The prices are fair for the island and for the high quality of the food. We are certain to return to Verdi’s real soon.

Consistently fabulous food and great service! Jason and rest of staff were very attentive refilling waters, checking on us and bringing extra sauce when needed —all despite very large private gathering in another dining room! We never felt rushed, it was easy to chat despite full lunch crowd spread throughout rooms- Comfortable seating, good food presentations & reasonable prices- Love taking friends and family here, NEVER disappoints!
