We had the “Wedgie” salad and the wagyu burger, both super delish. The fries are incredible. Our server was Jerrod, very cool guy, super personable. We appreciated him. The next morning we had breakfast at Rascal and it was just as great. We love all the little touches, e.g., pet menu for our doggo, cute teapot & mug my tea came in, all the jam choices for the croissants…… very special! Our server was super sweet, I can’t remember her name, sorry! 😞 We had the croissants, they were good, a little doughy for me, but my husband loved them; eggs Benedict was great, as was my husband’s breakfast. I had two appetizers, the exquisite shrimp ceviche filled with big chunks of shrimp, and the salad pear and arugula salad was delicious and huge. My husband had the salad and their salmon dinner which he loved the service was spectacular. We also tried three of their specialty cocktails which were also excellent. The “churro” apple dessert was insanely delicious. On the downside this small “resort” restaurant has a clubby vibe (not loud, just the ambiance) and the prices are just too high. Although the menu is limited, each dish is expertly and thoughtfully crafted by a talented chef. No issues finding a parking spot in their private lot even being the week of Christmas. We sat inside but they do have a nice patio as well. We started with the guacamole and chips with a pitcher of red sangria. Both very good. For our entrees my husband ordered the mole chicken enchiladas and I had the shrimp enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. Flavors and presentation both excellent.
