Jim Goode's love of seafood was born from a childhood spent along the sun-soaked Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. It was this love for coastal dishes, Cajun flavors and time spent together that Jim passed down to his own kids - and to the plates still on our menu today.Fresh food speaks for itself - so we don't send ours swimming in heavy sauces. Instead, our daily Gulf catch is grilled over mesquite or lightly battered and fried golden. It's this tasteful preparation that leads to mouthwatering plates worth diving into.Piled high with shrimp and crab meat, our famous Campechana gets its kick from a special blend of pico de gallo, fire-roasted Anaheim peppers and diced avocadoes. Lorsque le propriétaire Johnny Carrabba a créé le Grace, son nouveau restaurant, il savait que celui-ci commémorerait les souvenirs qu'il avait de sa chère grand-mère Grace Mandola. Grace, également connue dans la famille sous le nom de Mama, était une sicilienne née de parents immigrés en Louisiane. Elle avait un talent pour la cuisine, l'hospitalité et une foi profonde. Elle était connue pour faire son pain tous les samedis pour ses légendaires dîners siciliens du dimanche qui duraient trois heures. Ses racines familiales nouvellement créées en Louisiane ont ajouté des saveurs intéressantes à ses repas maison. Toute la famille Mandola, y compris ses cinq enfants et ses quatorze petits-enfants, ont été régulièrement accueillis dans sa maison avec des odeurs de pain chaud, de sauces bien mijotées et de soupes maison.
