Best American Restaurants in Ballston Spa

Waitress was fantastic and was very attentive. We ordered three pizzas, pepperoni and buffalo chicken were good, hang over pizza wasn’t, a bit over cooked. We saw a table next to us had ordered the hang-over and theirs looked great, ours looked like it didn’t have as much of the toppings and maybe left in the oven too long. We had a few appetizers that were very good. (Pretzel and hummus plate)

A beautiful dinner overall, everything cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The shrimp calabria appetizer was particularly amazing. They went above and beyond for our anniversary from the server congratulating us, specialty menus, and a complimentary, delicious lava cake dessert. We love Morton’s and intend to return again and again!

My husband and I visited Salt and Char for the first time on Christmas Eve. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional! Classy gorgeous atmosphere. Wine and food outstanding. We will definitely return to this restaurant. Looking to impress, make a reservation at Salt and Char!

We were very concerned that the prefixed menu was never posted. But having been to Morrissey's in the past I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't cancel the reservation. The Service and the food was excellent. My wife had the Chateaubriand and I had the Rack of Lamb. Both meals were hot, large portions, cooked perfectly. Morrissey's made our Christmas eve dinner a night to remember.

We had cocktails at the bar high top table. Drink very good. Pom margarita delicious I had 2. They give you a basket of homemade potato chips & onion dip. Get the lobster wedge salad & the charcuterie board Filet mignon delicious. Lobster & shrimp risotto very good. No room for dessert.
