- PPegGreater Boston •31 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe enjoyed our dinner so much at La Cabrera last night. They have a wonderful wine list of Argentenian wines. We sampled their Malbec and Pinot Noir and loved them both. The steaks nearby diners were eating looked wonderful, but we enjoyed the grilled salmon and the ravioli with mushrooms. The decor is beautiful and the servers helpful and very nice, albeit somewhat disorganized. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely return. Thanks so much for an excellent dining experience.More infoLa Cabrera Coconut GrovePrice: Expensive• Argentinean• Coconut Grove•4.6

- DDebbieVIPGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Kao is an underrated spot in Coral Gables. Many restaurants pop up and last a year or 2. Kao has persevered without sacrificing quality and service. My husband and I had not been in since Covid. We were in the Gables and decided to revisit the place and it did not disappoint. We like many things about Kao: the diverse menu options, all of which were delicious, excellent service from our thoughtful server Helen, excellent cocktails, ambiance is fun and creative and they turn into a club on the weekend. My husband and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank which was super tender and flavorful after being stewed over 5 hours. The mixed vegetables were delicious as well. Our friends had the grilled octopus which was tender and delicious and the Flap Steak which was tender and tasty. We started with a sausage appetizer and the sausage was spicy and tasty. We also each had an empanada of a different flavor. They were crispy and tasty. For dessert, we shared the brownie sunday and the choc chip cookie sunday which were both delicious. We recommend Kao highly and hope you will give it a try. Debbie & Darin SMore infoKao Sushi & GrillPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Coral Gables•4.3
- LLizaVIPLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024A hidden gem. The food is delicious. And I’m a picky, food snob. Their empanadas are flaky and fresh, not crusty and thick. The meat is quality and the veggies are yummy. And their flan is addictive! Also the service is on point. They know when to check in on you and don’t awkwardly bug you. It’s all so natural and effortless. The ambience is clean modern and quaint. Not pretentious. Overall a great experience and this will be my go to restaurant from now on.More infoALTAGRACIAPrice: Moderate• Argentinean• Coral Gables•4.6
