I recommend the empanadas, probably one of the best starters i’ve ever tasted! Highly recommendMore infoGaucho Tower BridgePrice: Expensive• Steak• Southbank•4.5

- AAlexLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoA caprese empanada? What Italian / Argentinian bastardisation was this? Of course, after meeting the ever cheerful chef, Dario from Turin, it made more sense. My Polish partner loved it… but I’ll stick to the delicious beef version. Alongside the empanadas we has sweetbreads with chimichurri, perfectly cooked and delicious. After that the ribeye, cod and octopus with polenta. I couldn’t fault a single dish! Paola, our Ecuadorian waitress was brilliant. Chatty and friendly, she happily explained individual ingredients in the spicy version of the chimichurri sauce and the cooking techniques. The ribeye was butter soft and the octopus perfectly charred from the flame. Wines were reasonably priced for London and unsurprisingly an Argentinian Malbec worked very well. We came after the theatre at 9.30, so it was fairly late, but it was also a Thursday night, yet the restaurant was very quiet. Given the quality of the food and service I can only assume that either we were just unlucky, or that this is a result of current economic conditions. Whichever it is, this restaurant deserves to be full all the time.More infoCHIMICHURRISPrice: Moderate• Argentinean• Southwark•4.8

- AAngelikaLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025For an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend these two outstanding mains: Argentine Steak (Lomio) – A perfectly grilled, tender Argentine steak, renowned for its rich flavour and juicy texture. Served with a choice of sides, such as roasted potatoes or a fresh salad, this dish is a must-try for steak lovers. Celery with Mushroom Sauce – A delicious and unique vegetarian option, featuring tender celery cooked to perfection and topped with a rich, creamy mushroom sauce. The earthy depth of the mushrooms enhances the light freshness of the celery, creating a well-balanced and satisfying dish. Both options showcase expertly crafted flavours and high-quality ingredients, making them excellent choices for any meal. Highly recommended!More infoGaucho BroadgatePrice: Expensive• Steak• Liverpool Street•4.5
