Best Asian Restaurants in Fisherman's Wharf

A friend recommended Abaca and it did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive, knowedgable and had a great sense of humor. Pork Lumpia, Sisig Fried Rice, and PEI mussels were all great.

It’s a fun spot with tasty food at a moderately premium price. There is better Chinese food to be had in San Francisco, but the vibe here makes it worth the occasional trip. We had the chrysanthemum salad, which was very tasty and fresh though I didn’t much care for the dressing. It seemed a little bland to me. We had the xiao long bao, which I usually love. These were very tasty, but nothing special. The fat noodles were great. The sauce was a little sweet to my taste. The winner for me was the tofu clay pot with minced pork. Wonderfully spicy and full of interesting flavors, offset by the creamy creamy tofu. Really beautifully prepared.

My friend and I arrived right at the 5pm evening opening. There were only a few other guest so the environment was quiet and staff was very good about checking in on us. For appetizers we got the Tofu Salad and Soy & Garlic Korean Chicken which were both phenomenal. However neither my friend or I could eat our main dishes (Creamchi Rice Cake / Belly Bap) because they tasted like the kitchen poured raw fish water in the dishes which was too overpowering to stomach. Overall a little pricey, especially for the chicken and main dishes but it was worth a try!

We loved the live musical performance! The tropical atmosphere feels like being on vacation in Hawaii!

A very chic spot. On the eighth floor, seemingly “above it all.” A worthy successor to the now closed Hakkasan.
