Best Asian Restaurants in Kapalua

Good menu with lots of options for both food and cocktails. Service was the best part. They have happy hour served throughout the restaurant and Tiki bar.

I’ve been to lineage twice and I have enjoyed it both times. I did feel the menu did lack something for everyone. We ordered the lobster noodles which I highly recommend. But as a protein there was no option that was sufficient. It was between an entire chicken or two $60+ protein dishes.

Wonderful! Julie our server was warm and personable—and honest in her menu suggestions. The food was all fantastic—hummus plate was full of unusual and tasty offerings (pickled star fruit—beet hummus with tandoori spices …). Bread service (warm focaccia with basil butter) was so good we ordered a second. Sides of Brussels and sautéed carrots were both just great. And everyone enjoyed their meals—ahi dashi, tom kha with fresh catch, smash burger, Caesar with added shrimp. Another with added blackened ahi. Plus some very interesting and well crafted cocktails. (The only small miss was the root beer float dessert which was a bit too sweet —not enough soda?) All this with a backdrop of great friends, family, and fabulous Maui sunset views at 530 seating. Thanks for a memorable night.

We always make it a point to eat at Star Noodle when we come to Maui. It never disappoints. We had miso butter fish, short ribs, and the vegetarian version of the Vietnamese crepe. Everything delicious. We were there for dinner after it was dark, so while we couldn’t enjoy the beachfront views, we could hear the waves crashing. So relieved this happening spot survived the fire.
