This place never disappoints but last night was exceptional. We have dined here before and had great food and the service has always been of a high standard but I’ve recently had to do an elimination diet and now I have some odd dietary requirements (low acid, no vinegar, no fermented food etc) which can be tricky to work around but nothing was too much trouble for them. I love scallops but couldn’t have the ones on the menu, without me asking they offered to make scallops I could eat with garlic butter. The barman came over to check what I could drink and made me my own off menu drink that was so yummy and went so well with the lamb. The waitress was attentive and friendly and the kitchen staff double checked ingredients in each dish to make sure. The food was delicious as always - my husband had steak and it was so tender and juicy he could cut it with his fork. My kids shared the duck and were very happy. Massive Thankyou to all the staff. It was so lovely to be able to come and have a restaurant experience where I didn’t feel as though I was missing out. Exceeded expectations. Best service I’ve ever experienced and very genuine.

We had a lovely meal here. We had Alan looking after us and he made such our kids were happy, he made our nice really special. The food was amazing too.
