- JJosephNew York City •1 review5.0Dined todayThe food and service were both excellent, price for a table for two with two apps, two entrees, two drinks and two desserts (one taken off the bill for a birthday, which was unexpected!) came out to around $100/pp and it was well worth it. If I absolutely had to nitpick, the medium-rare filet had a bit of a char on the outside in places that gave it a partially crunchy texture in those areas. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!More infoChar Steakhouse - Red BankPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Red Bank•4.6
- DDonnaVIPNew York City •63 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLove Salt so much. Been here many times (had a few birthday parties here as well), and it never disappoints. Last night we had the Kale-Romaine Caesar and the Salt Coastal salads to start. I used to get the Palm hearts salad which is also very good, but since I tried the Coastal salad with its capers and radishes and lovely, light vinaigrette, I’m hooked. We had the Blackened Tuna (a special for the night), for which my husband asked for a bit of kick to the spice, after our server told us it was very mild. Turned out perfectly seasoned and was a beautiful piece of tuna. Mine was the cast iron Chilean sea bass with tomatoes- also perfect. I finished with the special dessert- pineapple upside down cake with a scoop of caramel gelato. Heaven on a plate. Also, I cannot say enough about the amazing and pleasant staff, especially our waiter (wish I could recall his name!) and everyone one else who brought and cleared plates and filled glasses. We recommend Salt to everyone we know.More infoSalt Seafood & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• New Brunswick•4.8
- CCharlesNew York City •8 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoFood and drinks were excellent! But you better wear a winter coat and gloves because the place was absolutely freezing if you get seated near the front windows. There was a lack of heat in the place as I looked around everyone was wearing their coats. The waiter wasn’t the best never asked if we wanted another drink and after dinner bought us the check without even asking if we wanted dessert or an after dinner drink. Wait staff need improvement.More infoHen Vietnamese Kitchen and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Neptune•4.5

- DDanielNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Amazing! I dined with a party of 7, although we reserved for 8 it was no problem seating us. We sat upstairs where it was a little tight space but you surely forget that when the water is distrubuted as soon as you are seated. Chandler welcomed us almost immediately as our server for the night and apologize for any delay throughout the night because it was just two servers on a busy X-Mas eve night. My partner and I had the Grilled Beef Kabab with the Honey Jerk wings for the starters and it was amazing. The presentation on the kebab was exuberant with the blue fire still managing to engulf the bell peppers and kebab. The wings had a kick but not too spicy, just the way I liked. For our entree we had the lamb chop with jollof and sweet plantains and the Jaimacan chicken and shrimp with sweet plantains. Both dishes were amazing. Chandler stood out by checking on us and bringing my girlfriend and our other guest who were celebrating birthdays together, both cheese cake on the house. Gratuity included makes sense for an establishment like this. They deserve the Gratuity. Being that my lady and I have been here multiple times, Chandler has always managed to be our server each time and remembers us everytime. We look forward to coming back each and every time because of the food and the service. Finally, for drinks, my Lady had the Beach party and I had the Brazilian Kiss. The Brazilian Kiss was soo good, I order more for the table. Overall, amazing experience 4.5 StarsMore infoHouse 157 Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Roselle Park•4.5
