    We went for a birthday dinner for our adult son, driving 150 miles to celebrate at Dry Creek Grill. We knew it would be an expensive meal and this was a special occasion. They seated a family in the booth behind us, with small kids who were very LOUD! Not a good time with this kind of noise right behind us. We'd already started eating our appetizers and didn't want to complain or be moved from where we were essentially planted. The kids did calm down after the mom arrived 5-10 minutes later, but the mood was already deflated. The meal was great, but the noise was a thumbs-down! The meal was worth the $200+, but the ambiance with small children was not welcomed in such a fancy dining establishment. And the staff and management should make changes. Service was great.

    They were shorthanded on staff do to illness. Manager was AMAZING! Went out of his way to make a large party feel welcome and overcame the issue.
