We really enjoyed the chef's seasonal tasting menu. The smoked mushrooms were delicious and had a memorable presentation. The whole meal was a great experience, with the grilled meats cooked right at the table. Flavors were complex and everything cooked to perfection. Service was attentive. As other reviewers note, the view is fantastic and the dining space elegant. Small areas for improvement - would be ideal to clear away plates from each course before bringing the next course. Music was a little too loud and intrusive and detracted from the elegance of the environment.

I have been coming to Virgil's for a while now. We went to see Hell's Kitchen and wanted to be close by the theatre district and Virgil's was right up the street. Could not have asked for a better location. Overall, the food was DELISH, totally enjoyed my fried catfish, super crispy outside and moist on the inside, my sides were potato salad, collard greens and cheesy grits. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. Virgil's did not disappoint, and the crowd inside must have felt the same way as it was crowded!!!

Was great for date night and manager gave us the option of free shots or another choice of meat unexpectedly and it was a pleasant surprise, the servers were nice and helped us cook the meat and gave us a very pleasant experience

Fun place especially during their food and drink happy hour. The food is consistently good and the service is great. Lots of fun cooking the food together with our friends.
