Whilst we were sad that the famous roast sharing plates, especially the venison roast, had disappeared (the lamb and beef ones on the current menu are completely different versions, we were told at the restaurant), we embraced the change and ordered a selection of 6 tapas together with their slow roasted pork ribs. Everything was superb, and several were accompanied by incredible home made "ketchups", of which the date and raisin (I know, sounds horrible, but was delicious) blew our minds...they should bottle it and sell it. Service was attentive and friendly. We were there for lunch on a weekday and it was fairly empty, but I expect and hope it will become more busy. Whilst nothing will fully replace, did I say it already, the amazing roast sharing plates of the old Pot Kiln, the loss of which we will forever mourn, the new Pot Kiln has definitely won a place on our list of favourites.More infoThe Pot KilnPrice: Expensive• British• Yattendon•4.6

- HHollieLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 22, 2025Absolutely delicious Basque food - such a treat to find in London. The wild mushrooms dish is a great dupe of the Ganbara dish in San Sebastian. The quail was beautiful, and I loved the flavours of the brown crab risotto but the risotto grains were slightly underdone. And definitely get the pain perdu, i'm not much of a sweets person but this blew my mind. Great dish. Beautiful, buzzy place to sit with some nice wine and a gilda and have a catch up, which is exactly what we did! Staff are lovely and super knowledgeable.More infoBar TopaPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Holloway•5
