Best Bistros in National City

Outstanding service and food. We had the onion soup, artichoke starter, burger and chicken piccata for lunch. The food was delicious with large portions. We had the mud pie for dessert! Delicious. Plus the beautiful water view. Great experience!

This was our second visit to Bistro du Marche' this month for dinner prior to an event at the La Jolla Music Society's "The Conrad". We shared the Country Pate' appetizer and found it delightful. To accompany the Pate' we shared an Old Fashioned which was superb. My wife had the Slow Braised Wild Boar on pasta and I had the Venison. Both were very flavorful and tender. Ariana was, once again, our waitress and remains friendly and attentive. We brought our own wine a 2016 Chateau Beaucastel chateauneuf-de-pape which paired perfectly with our entrees. Looking forward to our next visit in the New Year.

We had 8 in our group for lunch and sat inside due to the cold. Main room is incredibly beautiful. The service was excellent as was the food. We had a perfect fun lunch!👍👍 Will go back often!!

We had a lovely birthday dinner for my daughter. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners. They surprised my daughter with a platter of delectable desserts and our entire party of five got to enjoy them. I had the salmon Oscar for my entree. It was insanely delicious - cooked to perfection with crispy skin and slightly rare inside. The crab topping was to die for. Our server, Leo, was so attentive and friendly. The lighting in the restaurant is very warm and romantic - also very flattering for photos!

Food is amazing, super fresh, try the burger! Great service
