Park Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Brewery is located in the heart of midtown on the corner of 10th St. & Monroe overlooking Piedmont Park and the midtown skyline. Park Tavern rejuvenated its restaurant and menu for the 2019 summer season. Our building was originally built in 1905 as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts and then transformed into a golf clubhouse in 1928. Although expanded and renovated over the years, the building still features some of the original woodwork and stone from the historic clubhouse. Today Park Tavern combines the historic charm of the site with the modern sophistication of Atlanta’s impressive skyline. The restaurant features handcrafted beers brewed on-site as well as spectacular patio dining overlooking the park and city.     I picked this place by throwing darts at a map because I wanted something new. It exceeded expectations in every way. It’s a great blend of nice ambiance but not too formal. All the food and beer was great and we had a fantastic server.

    Was looking for a place in downtown for a quick dinner before a show and chose this because they took reservations. While we didn’t need one we found this place to be perfect for what we wanted. We were seated immediately and our waitress did a wonderful job. I had the pork carnita tacos which were awesome and my husband had a burger which he said was delicious. I would definitely recommend for a nice meal and drinks.

    I had a buddy in town and we picked this place because it was rated well and close. The atmosphere was casual and we were greeted upon arrival. The beers and drink were as expected. The food was good with the exception of my friend having a slightly overcooked steak. I had the grouper sandwich, which was delicious. We ended with the bread pudding, great flavor, not too sweet and could have been cooked a little more to firm up the middle. Our server was Jason and he was super cool, very attentive and personable. Overall really good experience.

    Excellent brew and food. Two side orders did not arrive with the meal. We had to remind server of our order. Nice that they comp’ed both the sides. Great place. Will be back.
