- JJemimaBath/Somerset •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad the afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Fantastic service, very quick with the food and had refills of our hot drinks. The afternoon tea is quite a spectacle! Massive amount of food (we had to take some away in a box!) but all very tasty. We even had a bonus birthday choux bun with chocolate sauce at the end! Only slight downside was the festive Battenberg was a bit strange being bright green and red.More infoThe Ivy Bath Brasserie and GardenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Bath•4.3

Our waitress was Tanesha and she could not have been better. She was super knowledgeable and helpful and perfect amount of attentive. - NnigelLancashire •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024What a lovely place. Stumbled upon this pub as we did not want to eat in Glastonbury and is only a short drive, it is down a dark country road but well lit. We were taken aback when we walked in by the character and welcoming staff. Honestly they could not do any more for us, let us try the tap beers and gave a choice of where we wanted to sit. Very attentive staff very pleasant. The food came quickly and was so delicious we both had fish stew, I am not a great fan of fish but this was something special and generous portion of bread to go with it. Will definately return if ever in the area and they also have rooms which look as inviting as the pub. There has been great care and attention taken with this country pub it is a credit to the staff. It is a real hidden gem!!More infoThe Lion at PennardPrice: Expensive• British• Wells•4.6
