Meilleurs restaurants Britannique à St Mawes

The staff were great, and as there was only two of them, they worked very hard .The place is decorated nicely, but even though the restaurant was far from full, it was very noisy. Difficult to be heard. A lot of hard surfaces , floors etc., make it like this. We went for fish n chips. Menu says 'rustic chips' they were not, they were frozen. The batter on the fish was over cooked and the fish was tasteless. It was a bit of a let down, as we have had many nice meals here before.

Amazing as always, we love our visits to the tartan fox, we always get a warm welcome and the food and service is always outstanding 😊

Superb impromptu date night with my hubby and the food was absolutely delicious!!! 10/10 Waitresses were so lovely too. All in all a really great experience and we will be back. Literally best steaks but all food was fab.

Amazing food!! We went to The Longstore in Charlestown for my daughter’s 17th Birthday and the staff were super accommodating. Definitely our most favourite restaurant. We all had such a lovely evening, thank you xx

Fabulous food - the fish pie is really gorgeous and is very popular. The staff are all fantastic - welcoming, warm and very helpful. Atmosphere of the building is cosy and the beams are fantastic although ducking may be required in places! A walk down the pontoon to look at the river and watch the wildlife is a must, even in chilly weather. Car park spaces are limited but everyone seems to manage fine!
