- JJoannevipPhiladelphia County •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoUnfortunately, if you're reading this it's too late to indulge in a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. This is the second time in 65 years I've eaten Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant and am I glad we ate here. I started with the beet and burrata salad, my husband had the gumbo. Both were fresh, generous portions with well balanced flavors. We both had the traditional dinner, other options were available. Turkey was moist and tender, mashed and sweet potatoes were perfect, as was everything else on the plate. And there was a lot!! I am not a fan of port wine anything and they were able to serve us whole cranberry sauce (minus the port). For dessert my husband had the apple crumble, served warm, with cinnamon ice cream. He was just going to taste it and finish it at home but once he started eating it, he had to eat it all. I had pumpkin pie, literally. A small pumpkin pie, with perfect filling in a buttery, crisp shell and whipped cream worth eating. And let me add, the service was every bit as good as the meal. Annie was professional and pleasant. Eat here, I doubt you'll be disappointed.More infoChef Geoff's West EndPrice: Moderate• American• West End•4.3
- SShannonWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe loved that the special Thanksgiving menu offered a variety of options (turkey 3 ways, salmon, gnocchi…) and the starters were substantial & had great variety. The service was attentive & “cool”. No big upsell, but we had a wide scope of options. The noise level was comfortable on a holiday. A nice balance of family-friendly & adult dining. Huge fan. We had 3 college-aged guests & 2 adults over 50. High priority was dessert (10/10) and menu variety of options. Win win. Easy on-street parking. Courteous service.More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5

- GGennyBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024Making advance reservations worked great and front staff sat us right away. Our waitress was exceptional, knew the menu, hospitable and helpful throughout. Drink and rest of the group's food was tasty. I selected the Mediterranean chicken bowl and chicken and chickpeas were over cooked and tasteless. I recalled in the past that this dish delicious so was very disappointed with this go around. The HH drink and appetizer special are good price for what you get. We will come back, but I will be more discerning with what entree I select.More infoThe Alehouse ColumbiaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Columbia•4.3
