- CCarolinaVIPNew York City •27 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 23, 2025We had a great time and our server Janessa was wonderful. The giant mozzarella stick was very good. The truffle fries were very good and the steak, when not overcooked, was very tender. Only issue for us was getting the steak at the right temperature. “Medium” comes out medium rare, which is perfect for me but not my husband. Tried 2nd steak as medium well in hopes that would be medium since the medium was actually medium rare and that came well done and tough for both of us but my husband ate as much as he could of it and with 2 pieces left, we got a third and asked to go back to “medium” server advised that was the first one we got and asked they cook like 30 seconds more but that came out medium well, so we ate what we could of it and called it quits. All in all, our server was still very attentive and definitely tried to get the temperature just right but without her being the one on the grill, that was a bit of a struggle. We ordered the bread pudding to go because we were stuffed but from the description, seems delicious. Would come again but unsure if we’d do the steak experience again.More infoKings of Kobe - Wagyu Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown West•4.3
