    When one of my friends from Chicago found out I was coming to visit, she sent a list of restaurants. Tanta was top of her list. I was honestly a bit surprised to hear her favorite restaurant in Chicago is a Peruvian place (growing up with chain Peruvian) but after going to Tanta twice I see why it is her favorite. Perfect balance of flavors with a modern and inspired approach. The Lomo Saltado puts all others to shame.

    Will never visit Chicago again without visiting. Please try the dumpling sampler. It was truly delicious. Service was amazing, food extraordinary, ambiance truly an experience. Notes - Get the dumpling sampler. - Order some hot tea with dessert. - Music can be load but the playlist/DJ was amazing. - Tables are close together, be prepared to shimmy around.

    The Restaraunt is nice & spacious. The waiters are very accommodating always trying to please the customers. Food was good- Need to advertise more! On a Saturday night there were plenty of tables vacant.. Will return again.! Thank you.!
