Best Chinese Restaurants in The STRAT Hotel & Casino

Some of the best food we had in Vegas. Really dark and loud but for much younger people a perfect restaurant experience. We are just past the stage where you have to lean over the table to hear your partner talk.

My cousin and I completed the Las Vegas Rock N Roll Half Marathon yesterday and reserved the newly offered Seafood Buffet. We elected for this option since we were staying at Resorts World leading up to the Rock N Roll Running Series festivities. While the race ended in front of the Bellagio and getting back up the northern part of the Strip was difficult, the wait and trek back to the hotel for this restaurant was well worth it. I am very picky with Chinese food since I grew up in Southern California, and many of the places I have studied/trained at did not offer great Chinese food. Obviously, Genting Palace, exceeded my expectations with this buffet offering. I remember sharing with my cousin this was like an AYCE Chinese Wedding Banquet. The buffet included a seafood bar with king crab (cut), oysters, prawns, and steamed snails, while the hot bar included salt and pepper lobster, braised short rib, steam clams, fried noodles/rice, and the best part: peking duck and roasted pork belly. Would have appreciated Cantonese style steamed fish, but we were stuffed! The food was so good and very nostalgic. The service was phenomenal and the wait staff very attentive. For a buffet of this magnitude, less than $80 per person, is a steal.

Excellent service and food and a surprise show. Everyone from front desk greeter, table captain and waiters were friendly and always there to provide top notch service. Definitely will return next time we are in Las Vegas!

Food was absolutely amazing. Our favorite meal on a week long vacation. So glad we chose to spend my birthday dinner here. Highly recommend the green beans and duck bao. Thomas was a wonderful waiter and made the evening super special perfect date night, special occasion or family night out.
