Absolutely great meal and experience. Highly recommend

Our group of six dined at Barrio Queen in Surprise, and we had a fantastic experience overall. We were seated in a spacious booth that allowed everyone to spread out comfortably while still being able to converse easily. The atmosphere was lively, with great music adding to the vibrant ambiance. Our server was attentive, and the food and drinks arrived promptly. However, despite being there for two hours, our water glasses were never refilled, which would have been appreciated by those who needed it. On the other hand, the margaritas were enjoyed by others in our group. The chips and salsa were delicious, but our empty basket was never refilled or offered to be replenished. We had made reservations, which turned out to be a smart choice, as the restaurant was quite busy. Thankfully, we were seated immediately. The evening was even more special because we had the chance to reconnect with family we hadn’t seen in a while, and for some of our guests, this was their first visit to Barrio Queen—they were thrilled to try something new. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit. A few small improvements in service would have made the experience even better, but the excellent food, energetic atmosphere, and good company made for a wonderful evening.
