- AAmberAsheville / Western North Carolina •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoTupelo Honey (South Asheville) is a go-to place for our family. The service is always excellent. The restaurant is clean and decorated with bright colors and uses natural light. The outdoor space is a fun spot to eat and visit. The food at Tupelo Honey is southern comfort food. The flavors are consistently strong and delicious. The portions are an excellent amount given the price of the meals. We have utilized indoor dining as well as their pick-up option. On our latest visit, our family tried a variety of cocktails (the Bluberry Margarita was superb). We had a sampling of sides, and all of them were excellent. Our favorites are the Brussel sprouts, mac and cheese and potato cracklins'. The fried chicken is wonderful whether it is eaten on its own, with a savory or sweet waffle, or next to some fries. We always order the biscuits because they remind us of the ones our grandmamas made when we were children. 10/10 for Tupelo Honey!More infoTupelo Honey - South AshevillePrice: Moderate• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Asheville•4.6
