- SStacieVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my first time eating at Maya and it exceeded expectations. We had the pimento cheese fritters for an appetizer. I had their duck which was on special along with their grits and mac-n-cheese. My fiancee had rockfish, broccoli and roasted potatoes. Everything we ordered was excellent. We will definitely be going back.More infoMayaPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Charlottesville•4.7

- OTOpenTable DinerVirginia •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 16, 2025We attended on Feb 15th from out of town, so the menu was a prefix for a specific price that included a three course dinner so the value on the normal menu is not considered in my review. The duck confit and filet of beef were both outstanding. Flavored perfectly and not too overpowering. My wife ordered the scallops (salted perfectly) and rack of lamb in which she enjoyed as well. The salsa verde with the lamb was to die for. The citrus really complimented the lamb. I really have no complaints about the food quality as it was all amazing. It was delicious and well worth the price of the prefix. The chocolate bread pudding was heavy for me, but I am not a big dessert person. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the coconut cake with chocolate sauce. The ambiance was quiet (second floor) and we felt a bit underdressed (lot of suits and dresses), but we understand many were out on a valentines dinner. Our server was attentive and funny, but not over bearing, and had some great suggestions for us (pointed me towards the chocolate bread pudding over the strawberry sundae). Although the cost is upper tier, the food was dynamite and we would definitely return for a special occasion. Definitely a memorable night where we left absolutely stuffed and pleasantly surprised.More infoC&OPrice: Very Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.9
