Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Brigantine

The fall/winter pre fixe menu in my opinion is absolutely perfect! Elevated yet comfort food. The French onion soup is no crock of French onion soup. It is more of a meal. The soup had three pieces of short rib and the toast had slices of (I think) Brie! Almost like a cross between beouf Bourgogne and French onion soup. A must is the Bosc pear tarte tatin for dessert. The butterscotch sauce was perfection. For mains we had the grilled pork chop and the chicken breast. Both had wonderful seasonal preparations and were miraculously moist! Service was perfect and the owners stop by every table and are so friendly! A really special place!

We love this little restaurant! Just the ambiance makes it special but then the food with the beautiful presentation and taste ! It’s a win!

Everything was delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. We started with the French onion soup and wedge salad…each delicious. I had to take half of the wedge salad home because it was huge! We had the steak au poivre with truffle fries and asparagus and crab cakes with couscous for our entrees. The steak was done perfectly and the crab cakes had virtually no fillers. We will definitely be back!

I have been here before, and it is enjoyable, but the prices are very high for what you get. We had a very nice server, but service was a bit slow. We will still always come back, however!

We had a great dinner here and really appreciated the energy and attention from Hannah the bartender.
