Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Chanhassen

They added a new salad to menu the shrimp Thai salad. Was very good. My daughter had the shrimp bowl and thought the shrimp was too salty and the meal was ok. Got there early for lunch so service pretty good she was friendly.

I think the waiter pays attention to social cues well. Simple things like giving us 3 minutes extra to look at the menu. To asking if we need a refill on drinks. The server felt presence but never overstepping. I can appreciate that skill especially in a busy and vibrant establishment.

Service was top notch! For the price, the food was a bit bland and generic-had the macadamia chicken and it was a bit dry and chewy-the green beans were the best part of the meal. Reserved a table for 2 and were seated next to a very loud group of more than 12 people. There were empty tables throughout the restaurant, in hindsight we should have asked to move, not sure why they would have put us there in the first place. To reiterate, our waiter was awesome!

We had wonderful service and the food was amazing. We ordered the bacon for app which was out of this world. We had the filet mignon and the dry aged bone in ribeye. I highly recommend both cuts of meats. We will be going back. They did not disappoint.

Wonderful restaurant with great service. We had a reservation for a late weekend lunch that could have been called a super early dinner. We had a great private table for a larger group of us that felt very private and perfect to celebrate on our own. Service was attentive and not too pestering and the timing of it all was just our speed. Apps were great, chicken wings and schezuan green beans were very tasty. French onion soup was perfect for a winter day and all our entrees were well received. Minute chicken, chicken sandwich (the best, with a dipping sauce), French dip, chicken pot pie, and rodeo burger were perfectly done, and must try the homemade tater tots. Everything is freshly made to order and the premium quality and preparation exceeds all expectations. Bonus star for the ambiance, it’s a lovely setting (check out the interesting ceiling above the bar) and drinks were spot on! Highly recommend for a fun lunch or casual dinner or even a low key celebration! You won’t be disappointed!
