The restaurant is very new having only been open for about a month but you wouldn't have known from the flawless execution of the evening. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly in a beautiful setting with a fine dining yet warm ambiance. The cocktail program is very impressive and the wine list extensive. The food... exceptional. The scallops had an amazing crust and were cooked to perfection, coupled with the brown butter hummus and crispy chickpeas it was a texture rollercoaster that I didn't want to stop riding. The filet topped with uni was a fun riff on a surf and turf and paired with miso potatoes and a ponzu demi was exploding with flavor and bursting with umami. We finished with the Dubai cheesecake which had a stunning presentation and delivered again with fun textures and a decadence that ended the evening perfectly. The service was fantastic and Chef Tucker Ricchio stopped by the table to greet us and give some background on her creations. I can't recommend highly enough.More infoLiraPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Campbell•4.8
- RRicardoSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI recently dined at LB Steak, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. Ambience: The atmosphere was lively, filled with the sounds of laughter and conversation, which added a vibrant energy to the evening. The decor was charming, striking a nice balance between cozy and modern. It was definitely a place where you can enjoy a meal with friends or family. Service: The service was generally good, with our server being attentive and friendly. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, they managed to keep things flowing smoothly. There were a couple of moments where we had to wait a bit longer for our drinks, but given the packed house, I can understand the slight delays. Food: I ordered the steak, and while the flavors were fantastic, I found the meat to be a little overcooked for my liking. It was still enjoyable, but I would have preferred it a bit more tender. The sides and sauces, however, were spot on and complemented the dish well. Overall Experience: Despite the minor mishaps, I left LB Steak feeling satisfied and would definitely consider returning. The lively ambience and good service, combined with tasty food (even with a slight meat misstep), made for a pleasant evening. If you’re looking for a bustling spot with a fun vibe, LB Steak is worth a visit!More infoLB Steak - Santana RowPrice: Expensive• American• San Jose•4.5

The calamari and tiramisu also delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Only problem was the table was too small.More infoThe Creek EateryPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• San Jose•4.4
