Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Arden-Arcade

First timers to Frog and Slim and will definitely be returning customers! Took advantage of Dine Downtown…couldn’t have been more pleased with our selection to go here. The food was delicious and delivered as ordered. The service was impeccable. And the atmosphere was casual, yet elegant. It was hard to hear our server and each other most of the time as the place was hopping and lots of conversations were being had in a fairly medium sized room. Didn’t ruin our night or experience. Would definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu that we admired from afar. Coming from someone who worked in hospitality and owned a business, the owner (who we didn’t know was the owner at the time), was heavily involved in both the front and back of the house. Before he left for the night, he makes it a point to come around to each table and thank them for coming. And also check to see everything was going well. That speaks volumes about what type of establishment he is running and the pride behind his passion. Bravo!

A regular in our rota of fine restaurants in Sacramento, Paragary's never disappoints. We split the Caesar Salad: lemony, garlicky, Parmesan, great flavors. Then one of us had linguine with clams and one of us had the tagliatelle with lamb ragu and we were in pasta heaven. Wine list has CA favorites (Navarro, for one) and some international listings. Our server, Wyman, was attentive and professional on a very busy night.

The food was tasty and the staffs were very kind! We really enjoyed corn bread, steak frites, lasagna, banana cream pie and lime pie!

I will be returning to Ella. This initial experience was a lunch time that. I enjoyed the burger and learned about the process of creating the meal, the baking of the bread, and the quality of meat used, just how this meal differs from Ella's sister resturants. The NA tonic was refreshing, I look forward to giving their signature G&T a try. The ambiance is refreshing in Sacramento, where we have so few high-end establishments. I'd recommend visiting solo at the bar, at a table with a friend's or a private space to enjoy your party. Pricing was fine, overall comparable to area resturants.

Wonderful service and food was delicious! We had my active two year old with us and the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. We will definitely be back!
