Fantastic dinner from start to finish. The lasagna and pickerel were particular highlights. The service was exceptional. Our server was thoughtful, attentive, charming and had very practical feedback whenever we had menu questions. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and decided to forgo dessert (being fully satisfied and full.) Not one to miss an opportunity, our wonderful server surprised us with a birthday candle in a ramekin, along with a couple glasses of Montenegro to underline the occasion. So thoughtful! All in all, wonderful experience and would recommend to even my pickiest friends.

The Commoner is a neighborhood gem. The menu isn't huge, but what they do, they do well. Great cocktails, delicious beer and yummy food. The nachos are outstanding. The staff is super nice as well.
